5 hours... Haven’t enjoyed a Guinness in some time, good suggestion.

Oh, things have changed recently.
The West Indies Porter is sweet and chocolaty, maybe a little too chocolaty.
The Dublin Porter is a great smooth drink, a real pleasure to drink. Certainly my favourite by quite a way. Little Guinness used to taste when I was younger. I thoroughly recommend you give this one a go.
Golden Ale is good tipple, similar to most good IPAs and a pleasant alternative to regular Guinness on a sunny day.
Original XX is a little drier than regular original with almost a carbonated flavour that’s initially undesired but easy to become accustomed to.

I’m usually a hop head, but Guinness Stout has always been one of my cold-day mainstays. I haven’t yet tried any of the newer releases, in fact I don’t know that I’ve even seen them on the shelves here in CA.

I've not tried that one. We've Morgan Spice on offer at work along with several Bacardis but not seen or tried this one.

Guinness Extra Cold (chilled about four degrees Celsius) is good on hot days as it stays cooler longer and regular Guinness on all other days.
Ye’, they made a, erm, well, a erm, a:-
Now I’m not religious at all but this is like walking up to the Pope in the Vatican and slapping him with a used condom shouting “there is no god”.

Guinness extra stout is the beer that got me into beer! Thanks to that every beer tastes like a light beer to me!

You and I are going to get along just fine. I will never willingly spend my own money on any beer named as such.

It has a nice little kick to it. Caught it on sale when I went into the store with the intent on getting Bacardi. But $13 for 1 liter is a hard deal to beat especially for something that has decent quality to it.

I stumbled across Guinness when I was 14. At a party I found that every time I put my can of beer or lager down it would either disappear while I was dancing or come back to the can empty. I found a few cans of Guinness and noticed that when I put the can down and came back to it, it was still there and as full as when I left it and so I became a fan of Guinness and developed a taste for it. Other than IPAs most beers and lagers are just sparkling crap to me.

Have you tried shiner bock? That, Abita Andygator, and Guiness extra stout are my go to beers. Also Miller Highlife for if I’m going to be outside in the heat.

I’m sticking with Corona tonight, had a rough week so just want to chill with something refreshing.

Nice. Guinness drinkers are a different breed to everyone else.
I also recommend you try a whiskey called Teeling (if your a whiskey drinker). They are a small batch whiskey two streets away from the Guinness distillery in Dublin.

So true. Price is always a good factor in choosing what to try.
I want to try and get more into Caribbean rums. My home city has history in the Caribbean.

I’ve never heard of Shiner Bock. Old Speckled Hen is also a great tipple for any occasion.
especially a five litre keg. ;)
Great automotive history too if you are fond of British classic cars, namely MG cars.

I hope you've got limes sunshine. A lime cut into six wedges, one in each bottle, real chilling drink.

Are you in the US? It’s fairly popular in the southern US as it’s brewed in Texas. That being said I’ve never heard of old speckled hen, what kind of beer is it?

No my friend there isn't. I once went to an organised party (yep awful as it sounds) who insisted pouring the Corona into a plastic cup, I sipped it and threw it on the floor and told the guy to f*** off and left the 'party'.

Hang on, I saw that bottle in the last day or two, I think on here.
I’m in the far north of the U.K., if you get to Scotland you’ve over shot me by three miles.
Old Speckled Hen is an IPA made to celebrate 50 years of MG cars all those years ago. Great for any time and occasion, seems very popular in the U.S. in the last few years.
Old Speckled Hen named after the factory run about which was speckled in paint and affectionately named the owld speckled en.

Beer in plastic cups is just one more thing that needs to get in the sea.
